While controversy increases about the Captain of WEST INDIES T20 CRICKET TEAM DARREN SAMMY'S victory speech yesterday following winning the championship against England, CARICOM emerges the WIND BENEATH THE TEAM'S WINGS in helping to steer their course to victory.
I have read a recent article showcasing the ANGER expressed by the WICB about Darren Sammy throwing them under the bus. Such a quick response indicates guilt and a messy camp that needs urgent cleaning from the head right down to the feet!
This role that CARICOM was allowed to play is indicative of the fact that the WICB (West Indies Cricket Board) has FAILED MISERABLY at the job which they were appointed to do. Their LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES are highly QUESTIONABLE. Another governing regional body has to step up and fight for the team to reach as far as competing in this tournament while the WICB sat back and folded their arms! WOW! What a shame and disgrace.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadine son of the soil MR. KENDOL MORGAN is the CARICOM COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER and I hereby take this opportunity to applaud him and his team for a job well done!

Its about time the WICB were totally exposed for their incompetence, I lost all confidence in them many years ago, they had a practice of sending players on tours without written contracts, thus, if those players became injured in a way that affects their careers, they have nothing to fall back on, the tour in India which was abandoned is another contractual issue, the players were being forced to take massive cuts in pay (think it was in excess of 50%) to play for West Indies, they are already one of the least paid teams but they are being forced to accept even less, I bet the WICB members have not taken pay cuts to the same percentage the demand of the players, I totally agree that this board should be disbanded as its not fit for purpose!
