It is commendable to see that her own nationals went out in droves to show their solidarity  to one of their very own in this great milestone of her life. Persons from some of the other Caribbean islands such as Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and  Jamaica also offered their support. Americans were also present.

The platform was opened with prayer indicative of the fact that Ms Jackson recognized the need to put Jehovah God first where her business is concerned. The event was officiated by well known Vincentian Junior "Soca" Jones who, in his capacity as Master Of Ceremony (MC), did a remarkable job to entertain the audience. Consul General of SVG to the USA Mr. Prince was in attendance.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF ALLONA'S CULINARY PASSION
In 2012 Allona took her first step on her journey to owning her food service business when she launched "VINCILLONA'S WEEKEND EATS AND CATERINGS." With the support of her family, friends, and persons within the Vincentian community in Brooklyn, NY, this venture was a wonderful and successful business for her. These early successes coupled with the joy she felt preparing the food she loves to cook and person's enjoyment of her delicacies served as the impetus  behind the her successful launch of her new company "LLONI" and reaffirming her conviction that she was born to cook.

A progressive individual, Allona went back to school to expand her culinary knowledge and skills. She purposed in her heart that she was going to hone the skills she's already possess, to learn the techniques of a professional chef, and expand her repertoire by including even a wider range of cuisines so she can better serve her fast growing clientele.

These new culinary skills which she has acquired were showcased at her event on Sunday.
