Meet ==> BLACK HISTORY MONTH Entrepreneur DAMARIS MARTIN of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

By Clairon Haynes

In these challenging economic times it is important for our citizens to think outside of the box and find creative ways of  generating finance in a legitimate way. Gone are the days when the possession of a white coloured job was sufficient to be the sole breadwinner for families. A lot of factors have changed the game. Prices keep skyrocketing by the second, by the minute, by the hour yet those pay checks/salary seem stagnant as if  stuck at the same place with crazy glue. Welcome to the era when having several irons in the fire at the same time economically is a must.

Our 5th feature is DAMARIS MARTIN of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES. Contact Number: 1-784-528-1978
Damaris Martin is a CERTIFIED school TEACHER from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Caribbean). She graduated from the Mountain View Adventist Academy (MVAA) and the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers' Training College. She holds a BACHELOR OF EDUCATION obtained at The University of West England. Recently she has launched her entrepreneurial venture TOPLINE CHIC trading in women's clothing and accessories.
HOW TOPLINE CHICK ALL STARTED
From an early age Damaris took keen interest in clothes and in dressing neatly and with sophistication especially for church. She and many others like her therefore found it frustrating shopping for clothes since the majority of what was sold in the stores did not cater for church goers. To her that was a void that needed to be filled but never thought of her as the one to do it. Not being able to purchase the type of dresses she desired at home she resorted to having her sister buy and send some “church clothes” for her. A brief illness around that same time however resulted in some weight loss. When the clothes arrived, they were inevitably too big for her. So there she was, stuck with a closet full of new, ill-fitting clothes. . She showed these clothes to a few friends who were keen to buy them and at that moment the idea for Topline Chic was born.

CUSTOMERS WEARING TOPLINE CHICK CLOTHING
Those who bought the clothes expressed a desire for more “church clothes” and she decided to take that step and begin a boutique that caters to the need for conservative yet stylishly elegant church clothing.
She took her plans to God and after much prayer made her first orders. One morning after devotions, the idea came to her that she should pay a tithe on the sales even before she realized a profit. She believed that was God speaking to her and so from the very first sales, even before making a profit, she by faith paid a tithe. She believes that God has been the driving force behind the establishment of Topline Chic and trusts that by His grace it will be successful. She intends to expand the product offered but for now Topline Chic caters for women sized 4 to 26. It offers stylish yet affordable clothing, shoes and bags.

DAMARIS WEARING HER LOVELY OUTFITS
Out of adversity comes opportunity is the way Damaris describes the beginnings of Topline Chic. She is grateful that in her moment of adversity she was able to take hold of the God given opportunity to provide for others even as she provided for herself.

Graphic design is central to entrepreneurship. Meet my #NIECE ==> BLACK HISTORY MONTH Entrepreneur LA FLEUR S. ROBERTS of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Written by Clairon Haynes

Creativity and innovation are the backbone of a successful entrepreneurial venture. They both go hand in hand to determine one's survival, sustainability, and longevity in any given market. Being cognizant of this fact, the owner of this blog has chosen to feature a WIDE VARIETY of TALENTS and SKILLS in different field of business. Arts and CRAFT is quite a lucrative product but it is not given the same level of respect that let's say a computer expert will get. The reason for this is due to the fact that our society has cultured us to only see white-coloured jobs as the only way to feel a certain level of prestige and pride as a contributor to the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of our country. Cuhcreations.blogspot.ca is making an effort to bleach this tarnished mentality that has been inculcated into us from our fore parents' SLAVE MASTERS during slavery. Creators of Arts and Craft also contribute to the economy, and so, they must be given their rightful respect they truly deserve for their hard work.

Our 3rd feature is LA FLEUR S. ROBERTS of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES.

La Fleur S. Roberts is a citizen of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, an island located in the Caribbean/West Indies. She is a graduate of Marriaqua Secondary School (MSS) and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Technical College. At Age 11 CROCHET (Arts and Craft) intrigued her so much so that it hijacked her interest and cemented itself as her main hobby. She began to spend her past time creating doilies for her home.

Later she experimented with several patterns which became intrinsically motivating and in 2012 it forced her out from her comfort zone of doily creation to the designing of earrings, baby dresses, handbags, and baby sandals from crochet for SALE. It is here that LA FLEUR'S CRE-A-SHUNZ was born. You can access her OFFICIAL BUSINESS PAGE ON #FACEBOOK HERE ===> https://www.facebook.com/LaFleursCreashunz

A PROUD CUSTOMER WEARING La Fleur Creashunz's EARRINGS

The success that La Fleur has enjoyed from her hard creativity and innovation has inspired her to expand her brand with her dear husband ERNESTO ROBERTS. Assortments of ladies accessories and candle and napkin holders are made from the SHELLS of the renown COCONUT FRUIT. Samples can be seen below.

La Fleur demonstrates an understanding of the importance of expansion to her brand and the implications it has for her longevity in this competitive filed. This is noticeable when she has chosen to begin formal instruction in learning how to sew with the hope of launching her CLOTHING LINE in the near future. It is evident that this young progressive entrepreneur is the epitome of what the bible's definition of a virtuous woman really means because her life lives up the its denotative and connotative meanings. La Fleur is the daughter of the author's 5th SISTER Jacintha "Pearl" Haynes of Evesham, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Words cannot describe how PROUD the author is to be her aunt. CLAIRON HAYNES PRODUCTIONS extends CONGRATULATIONS to La Fleur Creashunz on its contribution to the economic development of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the world by extension.
