KENTON CHANCE from I-Witness News was STABBED Sunday night in SVG. Please keep him in your prayers.

KENTON CHANCE WROTE TO HIS FACEBOOK FRIENDS ONE OF WHICH I AM:

"THANKS FOR YOUR CONCERNS
Dear all,
I was involved in an altercation Sunday night in Penniston, during which I received two stab wounds -- one to the right inner thigh and another to the sole of my right foot. Also, I suffered blunt force trauma to my forehead.

Two other persons, a male and a female, were involved in the altercation, and I have been told that one of them, the male, received an injury to the head and has sought medical attention.
I was treated at Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in Kingstown and discharged. While I am expected to make a full recovery, the wounds to my leg and foot are inhibiting my ability to walk properly. The doctor says they should heal in seven to 10 days.
Thanks to all of you who called, messaged, prayed or in other ways expressed concern.
It is my understanding that one of the parties involved in the altercation has initiated legal action. Hence, it is not prudent for me to say more, and I am not inclined to do so anyway.
While I am in the public’s eye, I do not consider myself a public figure, and make this post in light of the many expressions of concerns that I have received.

Special thanks to the very professional staff at Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, namely Dr. Joseph (my former schoolmate) and nurse Parsons -- who promises that she is the best at administering sutures. Time will tell . I was a little disappointed, though, that when I walked in with blood streaming from my forehead and foot, I was shown a bench and told to sit there. After a few minutes, and with a pool of blood on the floor, I had to tell the staff that I am bleeding a lot and was given a bed to lie on. In the end, all’s well that ends well. Never in my life would I have imagined that I would know what it is like to be stabbed…"

According to this statement from Mr. Chance no details has been given as to the circumstances leading up to this attack. I hereby DENOUCE THIS ACT OF VIOLENCE. I am praying for your speedy recovery.
