Meet my #NIECE ==> BLACK HISTORY MONTH Entrepreneur LA FLEUR S. ROBERTS of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Written by Clairon Haynes

Creativity and innovation are the backbone of a successful entrepreneurial venture. They both go hand in hand to determine one's survival, sustainability, and longevity in any given market. Being cognizant of this fact, the owner of this blog has chosen to feature a WIDE VARIETY of TALENTS and SKILLS in different field of business. Arts and CRAFT is quite a lucrative product but it is not given the same level of respect that let's say a computer expert will get. The reason for this is due to the fact that our society has cultured us to only see white-coloured jobs as the only way to feel a certain level of prestige and pride as a contributor to the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of our country. Cuhcreations.blogspot.ca is making an effort to bleach this tarnished mentality that has been inculcated into us from our fore parents' SLAVE MASTERS during slavery. Creators of Arts and Craft also contribute to the economy, and so, they must be given their rightful respect they truly deserve for their hard work.

Our 3rd feature is LA FLEUR S. ROBERTS of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES.

La Fleur S. Roberts is a citizen of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, an island located in the Caribbean/West Indies. She is a graduate of Marriaqua Secondary School (MSS) and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Technical College. At Age 11 CROCHET (Arts and Craft) intrigued her so much so that it hijacked her interest and cemented itself as her main hobby. She began to spend her past time creating doilies for her home.

Later she experimented with several patterns which became intrinsically motivating and in 2012 it forced her out from her comfort zone of doily creation to the designing of earrings, baby dresses, handbags, and baby sandals from crochet for SALE. It is here that LA FLEUR'S CRE-A-SHUNZ was born. You can access her OFFICIAL BUSINESS PAGE ON #FACEBOOK HERE ===> https://www.facebook.com/LaFleursCreashunz

A PROUD CUSTOMER WEARING La Fleur Creashunz's EARRINGS

The success that La Fleur has enjoyed from her hard creativity and innovation has inspired her to expand her brand with her dear husband ERNESTO ROBERTS. Assortments of ladies accessories and candle and napkin holders are made from the SHELLS of the renown COCONUT FRUIT. Samples can be seen below.

La Fleur demonstrates an understanding of the importance of expansion to her brand and the implications it has for her longevity in this competitive filed. This is noticeable when she has chosen to begin formal instruction in learning how to sew with the hope of launching her CLOTHING LINE in the near future. It is evident that this young progressive entrepreneur is the epitome of what the bible's definition of a virtuous woman really means because her life lives up the its denotative and connotative meanings. La Fleur is the daughter of the author's 5th SISTER Jacintha "Pearl" Haynes of Evesham, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Words cannot describe how PROUD the author is to be her aunt. CLAIRON HAYNES PRODUCTIONS extends CONGRATULATIONS to La Fleur Creashunz on its contribution to the economic development of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the world by extension.

Meet BLACK HISTORY MONTH Entrepreneur STEVE (DADDY GHOST) VICTORY of Montreal, CANADA formerly of ===> SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Written by Clairon Haynes

The introductory remarks in our first BLACK HISTORY MONTH ENTREPRENEURIAL FEATURE emphasized that the purpose of this campaign on our blog during the entire month of February is precisely to "ENCOURAGE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AMONG WOMEN." However, a few readers are of the view that it seems to show bias on the part of male entrepreneurs. The reason why our lens seem to focus on women is simply because the owner of this blog has more connections with female business owners than men. As a matter of fact locating entrepreneurs of the opposite sex within our circle was seemingly a pipe dream. Exclusion of any particular group of persons will be deemed journalistic negligence, a practice that we do not condone and we do not wish to be our trademark of identification for that will make our blogging reputation becomes questionable. That this blog exists to give EVERYONE a fair chance as much as it possibly can, it behooves us to thrive for 100% transparency at all times. It was never the intention of the author of that particular post to show discrimination, and so this notion is therefore debunked.

Our 2nd feature is STEVE (DADDY GHOST) VICTORY of MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA formerly of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES. Located at 6887 VICTORIA.

Steve Victory affectionately known as "DADDY GHOST" hails from the southern Caribbean island of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES. In pursuit of the exploration of different cultures, he migrated to Montreal, Quebec, Canada approximately 25 years ago upon graduating from EMMANUEL HIGH SCHOOL MESOPOTAMIA. As he became face to face with the reality of living in Canada as an immigrant, he soon realized that he will enjoy a greater sense of satisfaction from working for himself than for others. This realization served as the driving force behind him revisiting his skills as a barber that he was well known for during his secondary school years and so it served as the launching pad for his entrepreneurship career in the late nineties.

Mr. Victory has operated from several locations on the street called VICTORIA that is said to be the Mecca for people from varying Caribbean islands since these tend to be his TARGET GROUP of customers from the inception of his business. Toward the end of 2014 he has moved to a new location which allowed him to expand his brand and better cater to the needs of his customers with the provision of a spacious, luxurious, and comfortable waiting area. Photos of his upgrade can be seen below.

The author has attended high school with Steve and a reunion occurred between them in 2006, four years after she migrated to Canada. He was instrumental in aligning her with the Editor in Chief of MONTREAL CAMERA where she received her fist writing gig for the Editorial and Commentary column weekly. Their business relationship grew over the years.

When it became knowledgeable that Mr. Victory was moving to his new location CLAIRON HAYNES PRODUCTIONS visited his shop to show solidarity and presented him with its 1st philanthropic donations of CD $100.00 toward the purchase of items for his venture. This was done to encourage him to press on to achieving greater entrepreneurial goals. VIDEO OF THIS EXPERIENCE can be seen below.

Steve's talents extend beyond the four walls of his barber shop. From a youngster he rapped for his peers in high school. That long forgotten hobby has catapulted him into the musical sphere here in Montreal and gave him the opportunity to carve out his own niche in the entertainment industry and create a name for himself. He has entered several competitions and have walked away with the coveted title "MONTREAL SOCA KING" a few times.
Steve is recognized for his entrepreneurial contribution to the city of Montreal. In 2012 he received an award from the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Association of Montreal for his OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF MONTREAL.

The management of CLAIRON HAYNES PRODUCTIONS is pleased to be associated with this hard working entrepreneur who continues to be an ambassador of HOPE for immigrants in this country. We are proud of your efforts Steve!

Meet BLACK HISTORY MONTH Entrepreneur ALEASIA BROWNE-ROGERS of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Written by Clairon Haynes

It is with great pleasure that this blog takes the initiative to feature some of the ENTREPRENEURS who are making waves since they have commenced their own business ventures. An entrepreneur at heart with a strong passion for spreading and encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit among women, the owner of this blog is of the conviction that giving its readers an insight into the businesses of some of the hard workers who continue to contribute to the economic development of of our community gives a whole new shade of meaning and relevance to BLACK HISTORY MONTH celebration that is currently taking place globally.

Our first feature is ALEASIA BROWNE-ROGERS of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES.

Aleasia Browne-Rogers was born in the CARIBBEAN island of SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES. A Carierre (Marriaqua) resident, she is the youngest of five daughters. An observant and independent thinker, it was noticeable at a young age that she had a knack and passion for cooking and baking as she spent a remarkable amount of time with her dear mother absorbing like a sponge every detail. As she embarked on her scholastic endeavors, she pursued her love for cooking thoroughly during her elementary and high school years.

An EMMANUEL HIGH SCHOOL MESOPOTAMIA graduate in 2003, Aleasia was gainfully employed by THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH, SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, in the Nutrition Unit where she was exposed to a multiplicity of opportunities for learning about HEALTHY DIETS and THE CREATION OF RECIPES.

SAMPLE OF HER FOOD

It is obvious that this meticulous young lady had entrepreneurship deep-rooted in her mind. Suffice it to say in 2008 that entrepreneurial mindset kicked into full gear when she partnered with LUCY'S FLORAL AND CATERING AND HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT. Samples of FLORAL ARRANGEMENT can be seen in the photos below.

Aleasia possesses one of the key fundamentals of the entrepreneurial mindset. Competitive by nature, she has made efforts to step up her business game when she participated in LOCAL BAKING COMPETITION annually, providing her with the opportunity to exhibit her UNIQUE talent. This exposure has afforded her perks such as having her RECIPES FEATURED in THE EAST CARIBBEAN GROUP OF COMPANIES (ECGC) CALENDARS.

Her business enterprise thrives to produce the BEST FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS and CATERING SERVICES at an AFFORDABLE PRICE for ALL OCCASION. To further satisfy its CUSTOMERS' NEEDS DELIVERY service is in full effect.

The management of CLAIRON HAYNES PRODUCTIONS takes this opportunity to extend CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Aleasia Browne-Rogers and her business partners for their exceptional contribution to the GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT (GDP) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. All the very best and continued success.

I must say that is saddened me to read a tweet this morning around 11:30 about the UNEXPECTED PASSING OF TODD TUCKER OF THE ---> Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi's mother.
View this content on Bravotv's website
It was only episode 2 of Season 7 (this season now in progress) that I'd seen her in a confrontation with Kandi's mother, the notorious MAMA JOYCE. I know how difficulty this must be for them right now as I have lost my dear mother on June 25th, 2014 SUDDENLY too.

No #Indictment? No Justice for #MichaelBrown Family

I wrote this on my FACEBOOK WALL 30 MINS PRIOR TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT BY THE SAINT LOUIS PROSECUTION ------------->
#‎TheAnnouncementIsCloseAndIFearForViolenceInStLouis‬
I sensed all along there will be no indictment of that white police officer who shot that black teenager in St Louis. No wonder the governor called for a state of emergency for the army to be on standby following the announcement of the grand jury's verdict. If Officer Wilson was going to be charged I think this debate would have been long over. Now I heard on CNN that prior to an announcement of this nature, the officer's (under investigation) legal counsel is first informed so that his client turns himself in already. According to reports that has not happen, clearly indicative of the fact that this officer may be relieved of a possible trial. HMMMMMMMMMMMm ‪#‎JusticeIsCryingOutRightNow‬

I WAS RIGHT IN MY SPECULATION!!!!!!!
LATER WE HAVE THE escalation of violence.
The officer was not indicted for trial. Is this fair to the family of the late Michael Brown?
NO TO THE KILLING OF OUR YOUNG BLACK MEN BY
                             WHITE POLICE OFFICERS!

UPDATE
I guess I am not the only one who think ‪#‎justice‬ for ‪#‎MikeBrown‬ the teenage ‪#‎Furguson‬ resident was not given.
NOW WE SEE MOST MAJOR CITIES IN THE USA protesting to show their dissatisfaction. This organized protest could only have been made possible through SOCIAL MEDIA. There is no doubt a generational disconnect here. Young people had enough of this injustice hence their demonstration!!!!
I HOPE THIS WILL MAKE THE US JUSTICE SYSTEM LISTEN and take the necessary ste...ps to effect the change needed so our BLACK YOUTHS are not senselessly killed by white police officers or police from other ethnic groups.

I strongly condemn the looting in Furguson and applaud the peaceful protest in NY and other cities!
